If you want to look beautiful, but remain looking natural and fresh, then read on to find out how.
Steps
- Go to bed on time. Get plenty of sleep, this will help you resist putting on make up, because you won't have dark circles under your eyes.
-
Use a facial scrub that's right for your skin type every night to remove unwanted dirt and excess oils off your skin which can help to prevent spots and acne. - Drink plenty of water. This is important as it keeps your skin hydrated, and also helps to prevent spots. As well as this, being well hydrated will keep your hair well hydrated, meaning your hair should be less brittle and more shiny and healthy.
- Eat a balanced diet. As well as keeping your figure in shape, eating a balanced diet, with minimal amounts of processed junk food, sugar and fat, and with enough vitamins and minerals, will help to give you healthier skin and healthier hair as well, (for healthier hair make sure you eat enough protein). As well as this, you'll feel much healthier and have much more energy.

Use make up to enhance your natural beauty, not to cover up what you already have. Use make up to enhance your natural beauty, not to cover up what you already have. - Use a facial moisturiser which works with your skin type. If you feel that your skin needs a bit of coverage, don't reach for foundation, try and find a good tinted moisturiser which will help to even out your skin tone and make you more radiant, without clogging up your pores or painting over your real skin colour.
- For enhancement on your eyes, use a layer of lengthening mascara. Lengthening mascara's give a less clumpy effect than volumising ones. One layer should be enough to widen your eyes, but if it's not then put a second layer, but only on the very tips of your lashes.
- If you still feel that more is needed to enhance your eyes then try using shades of brown eye shadow on the outer corner of your eyes to give yourself light and natural enhancement.
- Lipstick and lip gloss look very fake, but if you do want some colour then try dabbing a small amount of lipstick in a natural shade onto your lips, and then fixing it with some lip balm to make your lips look moist.
- To add a bit of colour to your cheeks, use a light dusting of blush on the apples of your cheeks (the bits that pop up when you smile)], to find the right colour, pinch your cheeks gently and look for the colour which they turn. In summer it may be more appropriate to go for a light bronzing powder in the shade of your natural tan instead of blush.

When styling your hair, try and work with your natural hair. When styling your hair, try and work with your natural hair. It's obvious when hair is straightened or curled, and if you're trying to look natural then you need to find things which go with the natural wave of your hair. - Try twisting or plaiting a small section of hair at the front, bringing more hair into it so that you have a thin plait which you can fix with a pin to the side of your hair.
- If your hair is thin, don't start backcombing or teasing, just use a lightweight conditioner when you shower, blow dry you hair with your head upside down, and if still more needs doing, use a volume boosting spray on the roots of your hair.
- To achieve natural looking waves, run some mousse through your hair, then using a diffuser on a hairdryer (on med heat), dry you hair from underneath. OR when your hair is half-dry twist your hair into a bun, leave it for a couplr of hours and when you undo it, your hair should be wavy.
- When dying your hair, try avoiding extreme colours, but instead go for colours which are going to look like they haven't been dyed on.

Keep your nails looking neat. Keep your nails looking neat. The main way to keep them healthy is through a good diet with plenty of calcium and milk. However there are other things you can do as well as this. - Try investing in some nail strengthener, these are usually oil type products which help to repair and strengthen your nails. By using them you can help to repair any damage done to them through biting, nail polish/remover, false nails or general life.
- Trim them down to the length you want them, and from then on just file them every few days to keep them in shape. Short nails are much less likely to get damaged. By filing them instead of always cutting them, they should become stronger and look healthier.
- Use pale colours such as a girly pink, or french manicure colours when painting them. If you don't wish to use colour on them, a clear polish can keep them looking shiny and well looked after. Avoid false nails, they can ruin your natural nails, and never look like the real thing.
